I also read Diary of a Wimpy Kid, by Jeff Kinney. And I give it a five star rating. It was hilarious! I would recommend it to anyone who has a good sense of humor. Greg, the little cartoon guy, who is the main character, is so funny. The things he and his friends do are the funniest things. No one in real life would do what Greg does.

My daughter loves this series. I've heard such good things about it that I think I'll have to borrow the books and read them myself.

Diary of an Eccentric
Yeah, the series is halarious. But, the first one is the best, in my opinion. I've only read the first and part of the second, but I've liked all the ones I've read, so far.
ReplyDeleteI read this with my daughter and we both really enjoyed it. We laughed out loud many times.
ReplyDeleteI bet you did. What was your favorite part?
ReplyDeleteI think one of my favorites is the part when they where trick-or-treating and ran into the bullies and had to run and hide.
ReplyDeleteB- Max read the entire series and loved it. It is great for a 12 year old boy who isn't crazy about reading b/c it's easy and funny! LP
ReplyDeleteYeah, the book isn't hard to read, and it's funny. And because it's so funny, kids will want to read it. And Evan, I liked that part where they were trick-or-treating, but my favorite part was went Greg sent his friend down the hill on his bike, or something like a bike, and Greg through a football and tried to hit his friend off.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine at work lent me her copy of the first book and told me to read it. Only I am skeptical about it. However everyone here in the comments seems to have liked it. Maybe I should just get over my worry and read it!
ReplyDeleteYes you should read it. It doesn't look very good, and it kind of starts out a little bit boring, but then it gets better! I loved it!
